Mango Sticky Rice ice cream, splurge-worthy carry-on luggage, and a wave spray for air-dry days.
We’ve been in motion these past few weeks.
First stop: LA, where we celebrated Laney’s CEW Visionary Award (!)—we’re still smiling and so proud. Then came Austin. ICYMI, we popped up downtown with our brand-new Airstream (here's a peek) and scoped out a few city favorites while we were at it. And from there, Milan. A whirlwind, in the best way. More on that trip soon, so keep an eye out.
Back in New York, the sun’s been out here and there—and we’ve been chasing it. “As soon as the weather gets nice, I try to spend every possible moment by the water,” says Gloria, who’s been doing morning runs through Brooklyn Bridge Park and sunset drinks in Red Hook. Her trusty (1) Honda Ruckus is officially out of storage and back in action, too. "I love running errands with her around Brooklyn and enjoying the nice breeze."

There’s something about this late-spring-basically-summer rhythm—softened edges, longer evenings, the ease of warm weather setting in. We’ve been leaning into the flow with things that make life smoother, better. Kealia swears by (2) Ouai’s Wave Spray: “It's perfect for when I want to put in minimal effort and wear my hair naturally.”
Some other recent purchases we're already enjoying: Patrick is burning a fresh Buck Mason candle; Gloria found her go-to summer sneakers in a mocha-taupe colorway—“these Nike Shox TLs are sooo comfy, airy, and truly go with everything.” Shain finally gave in and bought the Merz B. Schwanen tee from The Bear and says, “It is hands down the highest quality t-shirt and fits like a dream.” Laney is a fan of this Sold Out Tee (black and white are closet staples) and has packed them for LA and Milan in her new (3) Rimowa Cabin Plus, which it’s just roomy enough to fit everything (though she has mastered a tight packing edit). And Chloe scored the cutest vintage Prune heels from Kalimera in Brooklyn.
Between planning a big launch (any guesses?) and weekday to-dos, we’ve been making time for seasonal treats and weekend escapes.
Sarah sat outside at Jeffrey’s Grocery and ordered the lobster roll with a spritz: “It was the perfect first taste of summer,” she says. (We’ve heard good things about the lobster Cobb salad as well.) Plus, it’s such an idyllic corner spot when the sun’s out. In the mood for dessert? Serene recommends the gelato cart outside Evelina in Fort Greene—“they always give generous scoops and have all the best flavors.” Not nearby? (4) Van Leeuwen is also delicious and, if you aren't familiar, there are spots sprinkled all over the city. Kealia loves their Mango Sticky Rice flavor.
More into something savory? Serene swears by Noona Noodles in the heart of K-Town. “Korean cold noodles (naengmyeon) are my favorite summer food and this is the best place to get them.”
For a quick reset, Cheyanne suggests a day trip upstate: Take the Metro North to Cold Spring. “It’s just over an hour, but it feels like a real escape,” she says. Her itinerary: sandwiches from Cheese, then a light hike at Hudson Highlands State Park, all capped off with a burger, local beer, and antique store wanderings back in town.
Staying local? Try (5) People’s, a tucked-away cocktail bar inside a restored townhouse and a favorite of Patrick's. There's art-covered walls, moody lighting, and really good drinks. Lately, we have been in the mood to go out—and even make our way to the dance floor. (Drop your favorite places in the comments!)
And while we’re talking good vibes—Harry’s House by Harry Styles is still on repeat in our headphones. Even years after its release, “It just feels like summer,” Kealia says. And we agree.
What’s feeling like summer to you right now? We’d love to hear.
Until next time,
Xoxo
